👀 I kinda forgot it was Thanksgiving!
I know I am not alone...
Am I the only one who forgot today was thanksgiving? 👀
I blame it more on my plant-based lifestyle than the pandemic. The pandemic added the icing on the cake to how I feel about the Holidays (as an adult). My parents decided to have me later on in life (after all the partying, lol, and career establishment). Older parents mean older grandparents, duh! Unfortunately, 1/2 of my grands are considered high-risk and the other half do not celebrate holidays: this year looks like (watching my mom) cooking dinner to drive two-hours just to drop it off for them to enjoy. I am grateful for this opportunity to adjust the usual holiday plans to accommodate their health needs. Plus, I don’t feel like cooking a special vegan meal for just myself—so my mom adjusted the sides to be vegan friendly! THAT IS LOVE! My dad is also cooking me a special plant-based lunch tomorrow! (Cheers to new traditions).
I look forward to being able to start new traditions with my own kids one day. If anything, this season has reignited a desire to want to have my own family and children. #GodsTiming
I DID A THING—I TOOK A RISK.
We see no return in areas we don't invest. Growth requires risk. If it fails, at least we can access what didn't work and build upon what did.
I invested in a number to connect with you directly. A texting community allows me to respond quickly, directly and creates opportunities to send out daily inspirational messages around all things faith, design, branding, and business straight to your phone without taking up any download space. Text me to join my text community!
This community will eventually replace emails for me—and will be the main source of communication. You’ll be able to ask me whatever questions you desire to help your grow and launch a business, process through conflict, discuss scripture…
The possibilities are endless.
Text me your response to the following question: What is the biggest thing you learned this season?
