Can I let YOU in on a little secret?
Can I let you guys in on a little secret? I consider quitting at a minimum once per day.
The good news is it's not as intense as when I started, and if you find yourself asking, "does it get better?" Keep reading...
I do indeed have some unsettling news too! Are you ready?
Healing sucks!
BUT YOU KNEW THIS... that is why you have or have not already accepted the challenge to become the best version of yourself.
Not only do you have to face the lies told to yourself, but you might also have to apologize for the damage you've personally done because you believed them—yikes. And then you get to the place in the journey where you want to run away from yourself, BUT have no place to go. People surrounding you start looking foreign as God purges what can and can not go into the promised land of the unknown. (Known to God, just not always to use).
He knows.
And Romans 4:18-21 says, even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, "That's how many descendants you will have!" And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah's womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.
EVEN WHEN there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping…
And Abraham’s faith DID NOT weaken, EVEN THOUGH…
Listen, it's sitting in the silence of your thoughts that is most uncomfortable. Like all these thoughts live in our heads rent-free? AND EVEN THOUGH (insert whatever keeps you in the cycle; depression; fear; doubt), keep hoping. Don't you dare waver in believing GOD!
Abraham NEVER wavered in believing God’s promise.
In fact, his faith GREW STRONGER.
In the discipline to not quit, we uncover the most remarkable love story of all humankind, our own. It's one of relentless redemption. This relationship takes honesty between you and an all-knowing and very understanding Father—God.
He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.
Yes, It does get better. And YOU, in the future, look healed and emotionally stable. Be FULLY convinced that God is able to do whatever he promised.
Are you fully convinced?
Also, what do you have to lose?! Listen to the prophetic encouragement below because WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?!
