It takes me some time to form a solid opinion around a matter. Specifically, I desire to move only when my heart grieves. It has not always been this way—I, too, once spoke way too soon to justify my pride. It’s costly for me to speak when there isn’t anything to say outside of emotions, honestly. Same for you too.
Today, I have reached the place of complete exhaustion around world matters and divisive opinions without outward actions to back it.
A few years back, the Lord instructed me to disconnect from the world’s media and plug into Him solely. From time to time, due to 1. my disobedience, or 2. causal social browsing, I opened myself up to exposure of opinions God never intended to taint my soul.
Are some of the arguments and conversations valid? Of course. BUT what is God saying?
2020 taught us things are not as they seem, and God is not to be mocked. God cares more about our devotion to Him than our divisive language to stop or encourage others to go forth in their decisions around current world events.
In our devotion to seeking Him wholeheartedly, instructions to our decisions are given with care and concern by Him and those who are authorized to speak on His behalf with no hidden agenda. There are better ways to sound an alarm or have meaningful conversations.
When our words lack no fruit, the substance is rotten. When words do not illuminate, we lose the very people we are called to help.
It’s never been about this or that—it’s always been about the posture of the heart.
Let us first examine our hearts.
May we be a people who refuse to buckle under the weight of varied opinions and the division happening in the world. May we be a people of the secret place, people who desire to seek and serve God wholeheartedly. “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6)”
God cares more about us than we think. Coming to know Him as a father was the best decision I could have ever made. It’s in times like this, I remember, God’s thoughts towards us are good. He cares more about our future and the fulfillment of His promise than we do. We are endtime arrows in training. The enemy is NOT God’s equal. Greater is He that’s in US than he that is in this world.
Remember, the actual test of encounter is transformation. Judge a person by their fruit, not their sound. BECAUSE AS BELIEVERS, WE ARE TO JUDGE THOSE WHO ARE BELIEVERS, but always be done in love with the Lord and not in self-righteousness.

Be encouraged, brothers and sisters. God did not bring you here to die. Be lead by the Spirit at all times. It’s okay to disconnect. It’s not okay to allow fear in (God doesn’t give us that).
Love you all,
